HOW YOUR WORKING WEEK MAY LOOK LIKE
Research
● Identify and lead research of new funding prospects foundations, corporates & HNI, through online research
● Map connections to fundraising leads
● Identify strategic non-profit events and awards to attend and network with relevant Stakeholders
Fundraising Strategy & Implementation
● Work closely with the Senior Manager - Fundraising to develop a fundraising strategy for supporting Raintree Foundations interventions
● Prepare and manage quarterly budgets and ensure targets are met
● Research for prepare proposals drafts
● Support due diligence and the contract signing process
Maintain Relationship with Funders
● Manage internal communications about funder reporting requirements
● Prepare timely funder reports
● Develop collaterals to regularly update donors about our work
● Work with the Volunteering team to prepare and manage employee engagement activities
Data Management
● Ensure data is updated in the Fundraising tracker
● Track and record activity in a systematic manner
● Collaborate with the Retail Fundraising team to create individual fundraising initiatives and campaigns
● Monitor, evaluate and report on the effectiveness of the individual fundraising initiatives and campaigns
Communications
● Create communications collaterals required for fundraising including pitch decks, proposals and funder reports
● Collaborate with our Social Media team to create and manage our online communications media including social media, blogs, websites, and newsletters
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR:
● 3+ years work experience in Fundraising with non-profits is mandatory, and should have demonstrated ability to identify, solicit and close grants from foundations and corporations
● Bachelor & degree in Social work / B.B.A from an accredited university
● An aggressive self-motivator who can work independently to deliver on a set of goals.
● Should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including writing impactful grant proposals
● A strategist, who has an understanding of the Donor mindset HNI, Corporate and Foundations
● A team player who is adept at people skills
● A confident person who can communicate with senior stakeholders, both internally and externally
● Should be willing to roll up the sleeves beyond formal responsibilities as needed for the work
