Job Title: Fabric Manager - Textile & Apparel - Home Textiles

Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced Fabric Manager to join our team in the home textile industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in textile technology, fabric sourcing, and supply chain management. The Fabric Manager will be responsible for managing the fabric sourcing process, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality fabrics.

Key Responsibilities:

- Fabric Sourcing: Source and develop relationships with fabric suppliers, ensuring a consistent supply of high-quality fabrics.

- Fabric Development: Collaborate with design teams to develop new fabric designs, ensuring alignment with market trends and customer requirements.

- Costing and Negotiation: Negotiate prices with fabric suppliers, ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality standards.

- Quality Control: Monitor and ensure quality standards are met throughout the fabric sourcing process.

- Inventory Management: Manage fabric inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste.

- Supply Chain Management: Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of fabrics.

- Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports and analysis on fabric sourcing, inventory levels, and market trends.

Requirements:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Textile Technology, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.

- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in fabric sourcing, textile technology, or a related field.

- Skills: Strong knowledge of textile technology, fabric sourcing, and supply chain management. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

- Fabric Testing: Familiarity with fabric testing methods, including strength, durability, and colorfastness.

- Supply Chain Software: Proficiency in supply chain management software, including inventory management and logistics tracking.
