Assistant Manager - .Net/Python (8-16 yrs)

Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Assistant Engineering Manager with a strong background in backend and frontend development. This role requires hands-on expertise in Python, .Net, ReactJS, MySQL, SQL Server and JavaScript, as well as the ability to lead multiple projects, manage teams, and deliver innovative software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a balance of technical proficiency, leadership capabilities, and project management skills, ensuring both technical excellence and successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities :

Collaboration & Communication :

- Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in an understandable manner.

- Serve as a key point of contact for technical discussions, providing insights and updates to senior leadership.

Team Development & Leadership :

- Mentor and guide engineers to enhance their technical and professional growth.

- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the team.

- Conduct regular one-on-one sessions, performance reviews, and skill assessments.

- Promote adherence to coding standards, design principles, and Agile practices.

Project Management :

- Lead multiple projects simultaneously, managing resources, timelines, and deliverables.

- Define project goals, milestones, and success metrics in collaboration with stakeholders.

- Identify project risks early, propose mitigation strategies, and adapt plans as needed.

- Monitor project progress and maintain transparent communication with leadership and clients.

Technical Leadership :

- Drive the design and development of complex backend and frontend solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.

- Hands-on coding when necessary, serving as a technical mentor for the development team.

- Oversee the integration of APIs, databases, and third-party services to deliver seamless applications.

- Stay current with the latest technologies and frameworks to introduce best practices and foster innovation.

Qualifications :

Essential Technical Skills :

- Expertise in Backend Development : Python,.Net.

- Expertise in Frontend Development : ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.

- Proficiency with modern database systems (SQL and NoSQL).

- Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and version control systems (Git).

Experience & Education :

- 8 years of software development experience, with a significant focus on full-stack projects.

- 2+ years in a leadership role managing technical teams and overseeing multiple projects.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

Soft Skills :

- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong leadership and team-building abilities.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
