Embedded Software Engineer C++

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high quality software products in a fast-paced environment
- Support and enhance the entire software development life cycle
- Perform and guide the automation of unit, module, system and regression level testing on various software modules and systems
- Perform root cause analysis and develop solutions as necessary
- Accountable for system requirements review, software architecture and design
- Adhere to project / customer software development processes
- Design and develop high quality software products in a fast-paced environment

- Perform and guide the automation of unit, module, system and regression level testing on various software modules and systems
- Perform root cause analysis and develop solutions as necessary
- Accountable for system requirements review, software architecture and design
- Adhere to project / customer software development processes
Work Experience
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelordegree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in C++ programming in a multitasking and multithreaded environment on a Embedded Linux platform.
- Experience with Embedded Linux, any RTOS like QNX, VxWorks.
- Experience working with I2C, Ethernet, TCP/IP or RS 232/422 protocols
- Hands on experience testing/debugging Embedded software
- Experience with inter process communication and Synchronization methods
- Knowledge of SOC, iMX8MP, Yocto, Embedded web application development
- Familiar with Software version control tools.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of safety critical software standards or Experience with rail or Automotive software is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies such as Scrum and TDD in an embedded environment
- Hands on experience with Shell or Batch scripting.
