Job Description
- Design Welding Fit-up Fixtures, Assembly Fixtures, Lifting tackles & Templates
- Experience on Automation (Hydraulic & Pneumatic) of Welding Fixtures & Assembly Fixtures
- Create 2D Drafting (Manufacturing drawings) for the Jig & fixtures.
- Validate & improve the designed fixture during FAR & FAI.
Responsibilities
In Project Development phase, on his Tooling domain, under the direction of the Tooling Manager & Project Industrialization Manager:
>Develop New Concepts while designing various Tools(Welding Fixtures, Assembly Fixtures, Lifting tackles)
>Design the Fixtures using Catia V5 & DMA.
>Detailing the design by making 2D Drawings in Catia V5 (Able to give critical dimensions. with its Mfg. tolerances, GD&T)
>Create TPS for Welding Fixture & Lifting tackle.
>Clarify the Tooling Suppliers for their doubts in the tooling drawings
>Necessary Modifications & Improvements during the manufacturing, Validation to be updated in the Fixture Drawings
>To be present during Fixture Validation & Inspection
>Interact with Engineering & Process for getting necessary input while doing design
>Able to solve Problem at Shop Floor during the Tool Validation.
>Willing to travel & work at Sricity , Coimbatore & Madhepura.
>Do Follow up with Tooling Suppliers as per schedule
Desired Knowledge / Experience
Experienced in Tool Design in Railway industry or Heavy Industries
Good knowledge of technologies, IT Tools Catia V5
Good Knowledge of GD&T
