Job Description
- Process Controls Document Preparation i.e. Control Narrative, Operation sequence Chart, Controls Logic Chart etc.
- Conduct Controls Design reviews on the Projects
- Coordinating with Controls Validation/Testing Engineer for implementation of Controls Per the Standards and Requirements.
- Maintaining Standard Process Controls Document Database Coordination with other engineering departments.
- Previous Experience in Water Industry
- Experience/Understanding of PLC, SCADA etc. control system platforms
- Understanding of PIDs, Process Controls, and Electrical Design concepts.
- Understanding of industrial automation.
- Understanding of hydraulics and fundamentals of fluid mechanics.
- Understanding of basic water chemistry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (including liaising, reporting, documentation, and presentations)
- Proven ability to follow set of procedures and standards, and extrapolate new concepts from established standards
Work Experience
- BachelorDegree in Engineering or Equivalent from an accredited University or College
- three to five yearsexperience developing Controls Documentation for process control applications
- Good exposure in Water Industries to write Process Control document such as Operational Sequence Chart, Alarm Lists, Triggers, Interlocks etc.
- Good Knowledge in PID control Loop
- Knowledge of and/or demonstrated ability to learn equipment and processes related to WTS products and systems including but not limited to RO/ED,
- UF/MBR, Ion Exchange, Thermal and Conventional technologies will be value addition
