Supply Chain Engineer

Key Accountabilities

The Engineer will support/handle end-to-end Sourcing and Contracting projects as per business request, not limited to the following activities:

1. Receive, implement and continuously handle multiple project requests via the Case Management tool.
2. Sourcing Strategy
3. Gather and analyze market intelligence data on a regular basis relative to supported categories and regions, to evaluate market and industry conditions to formulate the Sourcing strategies and decisions
4. Develop Sourcing strategies based on category demand, request, market and suppliersconditions.
5. Supplier Prequalification: form Suppliersscreening / prequalification and monitor/manage the process status as per the related guidelines.
6. Support/handle the supplier selection process
7. Manage the relevant supplier interactions and relationship throughout a sourcing project Coordinate with Line and Bidders to ensure Technical and Commercial Bid Evaluation performed in accordance with the requirements.
8. Develop and acquire approvals for Award Recommendation documentation as per Governance Framework in respective regions.
9. Determine the appropriate contract template and develop the contract content based on the information contained in the Sourcing Strategy, sourcing event and/or detailed scope of work specifications
10. Negotiate relevant contract terms with suppliers, within the defined parameters of legal and category.
11. Operationalize the Contract upon award in the Companytools and systems.

Required Skills and Experience

Work Experience

1. Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management (SCM) or closely related degrees. MS in ISE, MBA or graduate-level degree in Supply Chain Management, is desirable.
2. 15+ years experience in a Supply Chain of an Oil Gas Operating Company, or service provider.
3. Strong communication and analytical skills.
4. Proven ability in facilitating business processes and shepherding and motivating other members of staff towards attaining business goals.
5. Proven experience in business process simulation benchmarking.
