Job Description
- Support the design, plan and implementation of new Android features to improve the security of the Platform and the entire ecosystem against cellular network threats.
- Maintain and augment existing cellular security features to continue evolving them and adapting them to the threat model and the ecosystem.
- Support the team in driving adoption of cellular security features in Android.
- Work with OEMs to successfully launch new security features.
- Bring a strong sense of security & privacy to baseband- and Telephony-related features.
- Models and fosters a healthy culture of inclusion, openness, and collaboration.Minimum qualifications:
- BSc in Computer Science or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in software engineering
- Strong programming skills
- Java development
- Experience in development and landing of user-facing features in production
Work Experience
Preferred qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in mobile security and/or Android security
- Prior experience in one or more relevant areas of Android platform - eg. Telephony, Connectivity, Android internals, Android development, Android kernel
