Data Engineer

;Job Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance Database/data warehouse-based platform and solutions
• Optimize and automate ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for real-time and batch data
• Build, test, and maintain data pipelines to collect, clean, and transform data from various sources.
• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.
• Work closely with data science, analytics, product, and IT teams to align data engineering strategies with business objectives.
• Ensuring compliance with security and data protection policies.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new tools, and technologies to drive innovation in data engineering practices.

Skills

• Bachelors Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of experience with at least 4 years of in SQL and experience in ETL technologies (e.g., Apache Airflow, Informatica).
• Hands-on experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Data grid ,snowflake , Kafka.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and cloud-based data solutions.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Knowledge of data warehousing solutions (e.g. SQL Warehouse, Redshift, BigQuery).
• Experience with Git based version control systems.
• Knowledge of DevOps concepts and experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools
• Strong data analysis skills.
