Functional Quality Analyst - Load & Performance Testing (3-5 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Functional QA - Load and Performance Testing to join our dynamic team in Pune. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products and services by conducting rigorous testing across various aspects, including functional, load, and performance.

Responsibilities :

Functional Testing :

- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases for new features and functionalities.

- Perform end-to-end testing of applications, covering both frontend and backend aspects.

- Identify, document, and track defects effectively using bug tracking tools.

- Collaborate closely with developers to resolve issues and improve product quality.

Load and Performance Testing :

- Design and execute load and performance tests to evaluate system behavior under various load conditions.

- Analyze test results, identify performance bottlenecks, and recommend optimization strategies.

- Utilize performance testing tools and methodologies to gather and analyze performance data.

- Work with development teams to address performance issues and improve system scalability.

Product Testing :

- Participate in all phases of the product development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to release.

- Conduct thorough testing of new product releases and updates.

- Provide valuable feedback on product usability, performance, and overall quality.

Other Responsibilities :

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date test documentation.

- Stay abreast of the latest testing methodologies, tools, and technologies.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process.

Qualifications :

Experience : 3+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on functional testing.

Technical Skills :

- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (i.e., Agile, Waterfall).

- Experience with testing web applications, APIs, and databases.

- Experience with load and performance testing tools (i.e., JMeter, LoadRunner) is highly preferred.

- Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (i.e., Python, Shell) is a plus.

- Experience with bug tracking tools (i.e., Jira, Bugzilla).
