Senior Automation Test Engineer - Java/Selenium (3-17 yrs)

Role Overview :

As an Automation Tester, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests for our software applications. You will work closely with our development and QA teams to ensure high-quality releases by leveraging your expertise in Core Java and Rest Assured.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Core Java and Rest Assured.

- Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.

- Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.

- Analyze test results and report defects to the development team, providing detailed information for troubleshooting and resolution.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application functionalities and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

- Continuously improve and optimize existing test automation frameworks and practices.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in test automation.

- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance testing processes and tools.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 3 to 8 years of experience in test automation using Core Java.

- Strong experience with Rest Assured for API testing.

- Proficiency in designing and implementing automated test scripts and frameworks.

- Experience with CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., Jenkins, Git).

- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with other automation tools or frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).

- Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).

- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).

- Experience in working with microservices architectures.
