Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop Process Extensions, Webservices for various business needs.
- Create, modify, and evaluate workflows, reusable criteria, privilege masks, user groups, roles, and business forms.
- Partner with Business users and Change Management Teams on governance support project activities.
- Identify new areas on an ongoing basis where PLM solution can be leveraged, or current solutions enhanced.
- Perform testing as needed for new applications or in response to internal requests and maintain documentation.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Help manage patches, upgrades, and add-ons.
- Address user issues/concerns in a professional/timely manner and ensure end-user satisfaction.
- Debug and resolve system errors.
- Manage user requests using the IT helpdesk system.
- Ensure business processes are followed when administering.
- Test new features and modules and facilitate completion of user acceptance testing (UAT).
Qualifications
- 12-15 years of experience in any of the PLM tools like Teamcenter, Oracle Agile PLM, SAP PLM etc.
- Solid Knowledge of PLM configuration, Criteria, Roles, User Groups, Privileges and Administration.
- Deep understanding of Customization (SDK, PX development, Web Services, ACS, ACP, Events).
- Strong Knowledge in Java/Groovy Scripting.
- Strong in Java to create custom solutions.
- Good knowledge of Parts and its attributes with Bill of Material (BOM) concepts.
- Good understanding of configuration management concepts such as product hierarchy, part number systems, change orders, AMLs.
- Understanding of PLM integration with Oracle EBS or other downstream systems.
- Provide support for system issues to determine whether the issue is with people, process, or technology.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision in a multi-cultural and multi-geographical environment.
- Good team player who can mentor the junior resources on the technical implementations.
- Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Able to exercise discretion and independent judgment.
- Good analytical skills, work accuracy and completeness are critical.
Experience and/or Education Qualification:
- Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science, information systems or demonstrated equivalent education and relevant work experience.
- 12-15 years experience with PLM administration / configuration ,
- Good understanding of PLM tools like Teamcenter, Oracle Agile PLM, SAP PLM etc.
- Good understanding of configuration management concepts such as product hierarchy, part number systems, change orders, AMLs.
- Good analytical skills, work accuracy and completeness are critical.
- The ability to write and troubleshoot Groovy script is a plus.
- Ability to handle the projects efficiently and deliver the results with minimum supervision
- Ability to mentor and guide team members technically.
Computer Skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Familiar with MS Project.
- Familiar with operating systems, such as Linux, RedHat, Windows, etc.
