About the Role
The primary focus of this role is to design, implement, and analyze algorithms based onmathematical or statistical models to support quantitative research in financial markets.
Requirements
What will you do :
- Develop, model, and test new or existing strategies, particularly on the National Stock Exchange (NSE).
- Conductin-depth analysis of financial data to identify patterns and trends.
- Implement trading models in a live High-Frequency environment.
- Utilize statistical analysis and datamining skillsto research, make forecasts, and develop profitable predictive trading algorithms.
- Apply machine learning and AI techniques for financial modeling and analysis.
- Collaborate with senior researchers to design and execute research projects.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of research strategies, making adjustments as needed.
What will you bring :
- Strong understanding of quantitative finance concepts and techniques.
- Ability to work with large datasets and conduct complex data analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in data structure and Algorithms.
- Degree in Computer Science or Mathematics from a renowned institute.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills, with a solid understanding of probability theory, statistics, and calculus.
- Proficiency in at least one major programming language,such as C++, Python, or C# to efficiently implement and execute quantitative models.
- Previous internship or academic project in quantitative finance or related area is a plus.
