Job Description

The Regional Transition & transformation manager is a Senior Project Manager in charge of the successful transitioning of Digital Network services and Large Network transformation /implementation .The T& T manager will leads the Management of Change (MoC) and ensures that the implementation meets project scope and timeline requirements across all applicable countries.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy - planning & formulation:
  • Provide inputs for customized client transition plans under their purview.
  • Control transition budget allocated, ensuring all activities defined in the project plan are done within the approved limits.
  • Create a comprehensive plan covering timelines, resource allocation and budget
  • Support deal pursuit by developing preliminary project plans for inclusion in the customer proposal.
  • Supports deal costing by providing project effort estimation.
  • In complex deals, coordinate due diligence, discovery, and design
  • Develop and provide a deployment schedule for proposal submission.
  • Contribute to the development of the final statement of work.
  • Manages multiple T&T projects at a regional level.
  • Enabling cross-functional support and removing barriers for deployment rollouts.
  • Provides both internal and external timely project communications.
  • Provides project status updates, tracking & reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintains all project documentation and files.
  • Conduct transition Kick-Off Meetings, internally and with the Customer Executives
  • Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of Datacenter & Network Operations, ITSM & ITOM processes, and methodologies applicable to project management and has extensive experience in Transition and Transformation Solution Builds, MSA & SOW preparation & review.
Desired Skills:
  • Project management & prioritization skills - ability to work through change, ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to identify and escalate potential risks/issues promptly and suggest alternative approach.
  • Adherence to deadlines by managing key project milestones and deliverables as part of the project plan .
  • Ability to work with various cross-functional and cross location teams (HR, Technology, Training, etc.)
  • Strong presentation, communication and inter-personal skills Strong analytical / problem solving skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships .
Desired Experience:
  • 10 years experience in project management in like roles/businesses with atleast 8+ years in IT Infra transition & transformation.
  • Experience with Tier-1 Global Service Providers
  • Experience in Transition & transformation project Delivery for global corporations & International Clients
  • Must have handled at least 4-5 transitions workstreams (knowledge transfer, service management, governance etc.) independently.
  • B.Tech./ MBA/ PGDBM from a reputable Institute
Preference would be given to candidates with ITIL/PMP certification
