- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of TMT bars during production and post-production stages.
- Perform mechanical tests, including tensile strength, yield strength, elongation, and bend tests.
- Conduct chemical analysis and testing to verify material composition and properties.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of quality inspections, test results, and non-conformities.
- Prepare quality reports, certificates of compliance, and documentation for regulatory purposes.
- Address supplier quality issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction in quality control and assurance processes.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
Qualifications - Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems and quality control methodologies.
- Experience with quality inspection tools, equipment, and techniques.
- Knowledge of mechanical testing, metallurgy, and material properties.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
