OPK e Services - Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation & Manual Testing (3-4 yrs)

Primary Duties and Responsibilities :

- Develop and Implement Test Strategies : Create detailed test cases, test plans, and test strategies for the engineering team, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.

- Automation and Manual Testing : Create and maintain QA automation scripts and strategy. Balance between manual, performance, and automated testing to improve delivery efficiency.

- Collaboration : Work closely with software developers to ensure features/products achieve the desired level of quality.

- Quality Assurance : Deliver quality products by thoroughly testing throughout all phases of the development life cycle (functional testing, regression/integration testing, performance testing) using a combination of testing methods.

Execution of Tests : Develop and execute automated and some manual (black and grey box) tests for the assigned test group.

Project Management : Actively participate in understanding project plans and providing regular updates on milestones.

Offshore Collaboration : Work effectively with offshore teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Knowledge and Skills Required :

- Advanced analytic and troubleshooting skills

- Experience with Selenium WebDriver using Java

- Experience in testing web applications

- Solid DB and SQL knowledge and Excel

- Solid QA competency in software engineering

Soft Skills :

- Strong team collaboration and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Additional Skills :

- Proven experience in programming languages is a plus.

- Experience in Agile methodologies is a plus

Experience :

- 3+ years of software quality engineering experience

- Shift Time - Flexible timing (need to be available in team status/KT meetings at night time)

Education :

- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent field.
