Job Description

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will primarily focus on manual testing of web and mobile applications, while having the opportunity to grow into automation and security testing roles. This position is ideal for someone with strong manual testing fundamentals who is eager to expand their technical expertise.

Your responsibilities:

•        Execute comprehensive manual testing for web and mobile applications (iOS & Android)

•        Review and analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents

•        Create and maintain detailed test cases for web and mobile platforms

•        Perform functional, regression, and user acceptance testing

•        Test cross-browser and cross-device compatibility

•        Document and report bugs with detailed reproduction steps

•        Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing

•        Participate in test planning and test strategy discussions

•        Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure quality

•        Learn and gradually apply basic automation and security testing concepts

•        Maintain test documentation and testing environments

Skill sets/Experience we require:

Must Have Skills:

•       2-3 years of experience in software testing
•       Strong experience in manual testing of web applications
•       Hands-on experience testing mobile applications (iOS & Android)
•       Experience in writing and executing test cases
•       Knowledge of software testing methodologies and bug life cycle
•       Experience with bug tracking tools
•       Good analytical and problem-solving skills
•       Strong communication and documentation skills

Good to Have Skills:

•       Basic understanding of automation testing concepts and tools
•       Familiarity with any test automation framework (Selenium, Appium)
•       Basic knowledge of security testing concepts & Tools (OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite)
•       Understanding of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities
•       Basic scripting knowledge in any programming language (Java, C++, JS)
•       Experience with API testing
•       Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment

Education:

•       MCA/Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
•       Basic testing certifications (ISTQB Foundation Level) are a plus
