As a Program Manager, you will play a key role in driving the success of our experiential learning programs (YELP) in schools. You will be responsible for training teachers, coordinating program implementation, and maintaining relationships with partner schools across India. Youll also be mentored by senior educators to deepen your knowledge of science and pedagogy.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Science or Engineering (Preferably from a pure science background).
Proficiency in Science subjects, Mathematics, and Information Technology (IT).
Atleast 2 years of relevant work experience in teaching, facilitation, or project coordination, ideally within an educational or corporate setting.
Willingness to travel 20 days a month, primarily by bus or train, during peak seasons.
Key Responsibilities:
Teacher Training:
Conduct effective teacher training programs to ensure that educators in partner schools can implement hands-on science activities effectively in the classroom.
Provide ongoing support to teachers, ensuring smooth implementation of the YELP program.
Program Coordination & Implementation:
Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate implementation of the YELP program in schools.
Design and implement operational processes to ensure error-free execution of the program.
Conduct regular school visits to support the program's ongoing success and troubleshoot any issues.
Relationship Development:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at partner schools, including teachers, administrators, and parents.
Conduct parent orientations to introduce the YELP program and align them with the learning objectives.
Mapping & Curriculum Support:
Assist the sales team and clients in identifying suitable activities that align with the schools' yearly curriculum.
Ensure that the hands-on activities meet the specific needs and objectives of the schools, covering desired concepts.
Product Demonstration & Support:
Conduct product demos for potential clients, either online or in-person, to showcase the YELP program.
Provide additional support to schools as needed, addressing any specific requirements throughout the year, as per the Service Level Agreement (SLA) or approval from the Chief Learning Officer (CLO).
Miscellaneous Support:
Offer guidance and support to partner schools on any issues or additional requirements that arise during the course of the program.
Key Skills and Attributes:
Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities to effectively train teachers, communicate with stakeholders, and report on progress.
Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize, manage time efficiently, and handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Drive tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides) for planning, documentation, and communication.
Self-Starter: Ability to work independently, take ownership of responsibilities, and solve problems proactively.
Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and quality in program delivery and communication.
Relationship-Building: Proven ability to develop and nurture professional relationships with educators, school administrators, and other stakeholders.
Flexibility & Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel up to 20 days a month, especially during peak seasons, to support the implementation of the program across schools.
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience in teaching, facilitating, or project coordination in the science or education sector.
Familiarity with curriculum development and a deep understanding of pedagogical methods.
Experience with hands-on science activities or similar experiential learning programs.
Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
