Python AWS - Developer

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Software Engineer with a strong background in computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in modern software development practices and tools, as well as the ability to work effectively in distributed systems environments.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable, and reliable software systems.
• Design and implement algorithms and data structures to optimize system performance.
• Work on distributed systems architecture and ensure effective integration across multiple services.
• Utilize APM tools (e.g., Grafana, New Relic, Splunk, Datadog, Dynatrace, etc.) to monitor and troubleshoot performance and operational issues.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in Python (preferred) or other modern structured programming languages.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Engage in continuous testing, source control, build systems, and CI/CD processes.
• Perform database design and SQL querying for efficient data management and retrieval.
• Manage AWS-based environments and work with Kubernetes to deploy and orchestrate applications in the cloud.

Requirements:

• 4-7 years of experience in software engineering, with a solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, algorithms, and data structures.
• Proficient in at least one modern structured programming language, with a preference for Python.
• Strong experience with APM tools (e.g., Grafana, New Relic, Splunk, Datadog, Dynatrace) for system monitoring and performance optimization.
• Proficient with SQL and hands-on experience in database management.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS) and container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with current software development tools and practices, including testing, source control, build systems, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues independently and efficiently.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with additional cloud services and container technologies.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages and frameworks.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
