About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee all financial operations and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of our financial reporting.
The ideal candidate will play a key leadership role in budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and financial strategy partnering with executive management to support strategic decision-making and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Compliance:
- Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP / IFRS and internal policies.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to stakeholders, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
- Maintain compliance with local tax laws, statutory filings, and external audits.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Drive the annual budgeting process in collaboration with department heads.
- Prepare and monitor forecasts, variance analysis, and financial planning models.
- Provide actionable insights to optimize cost control and enhance revenue growth.
Accounting Operations:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, payroll, fixed assets, and cash management.
- Implement and improve internal financial controls, policies, and procedures.
- Manage accounting team members and ensure accurate financial reconciliations.
Cash Flow & Treasury Management:
- Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity positions.
- Work closely with banks and financial institutions for treasury operations, credit facilities, and investments.
Internal Controls & Risk Management:
- Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Support risk assessment initiatives and ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements.
Strategic Support & Leadership:
- Partner with the CFO/CEO to develop financial strategies aligned with business goals.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic projects, business expansions, and investment decisions.
- Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team to build a high-performance finance function.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 815 years of experience in accounting and financial management, including at least 35 years in a leadership or controller role.
- Proven experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and local taxation laws.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Tally) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's/master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
