Security Engineer - SIEM Tools (4-8 yrs)

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Security Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will work closely with engineering and compliance teams to design, implement, and maintain robust security systems that protect our infrastructure and sensitive financial data.

This role is crucial for ensuring the security and integrity of our platform while enabling secure, scalable growth. You will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities, implementing security controls, and developing security best practices across our organization.

Responsibilities :

• Security Architecture: Design and implement secure system architectures, focusing on financial data protection and system integrity.
• Threat Detection: Monitor systems for security breaches and implement incident response procedures. Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scanning.
• Security Controls: Develop and maintain security controls, including access management and encryption protocols.
• Authentication Systems: Design and implement robust authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Security Automation: Build and maintain security automation tools and processes.
• Compliance: Ensure security measures meet financial industry regulations and standards (PCI DSS, SOC 2 etc. ).
• Risk Assessment: Perform security risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Security Training: Develop and conduct security awareness training for employees.
• Incident Response: Lead incident response efforts and conduct post-incident analysis.
• Cloud Security: Implement and maintain security measures across cloud infrastructure.
• Security Documentation: Create and maintain security policies, procedures, and technical documentation.
• Third-party Security: Assess and monitor the security of third-party integrations and vendors.
• Network Security: Design and implement network security measures including firewalls and IDS/IPS.
• Application Security: Collaborate with development teams to ensure secure coding practices.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field; security certifications (CISSP, CEH, OSCP) are a plus.
• 4+ years of experience in security engineering, particularly in financial technology or similar regulated industries.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
• Deep understanding of cryptography, network security, and system architecture.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their security features.
• Proven track record of implementing security measures in high-stakes environments.
• Experience with security tools, SIEM systems, and vulnerability assessment tools.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the financial sector.
