Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manual and automated testing for web applications, embedded software, IoT platforms, and enterprise systems.
• Conduct functional, performance, regression, integration, and security testing to ensure software quality.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla).
• Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and improve software reliability.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 26262, ASPICE, or other safety-critical software guidelines).
• Implement test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, or similar.
• Perform API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
• Analyze software performance, troubleshoot system failures, and provide solutions to enhance efficiency.
• Support hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and embedded system validation for Caterpillar machinery.
• Stay updated on the latest testing methodologies and technologies to improve test efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software testing, QA, or test automation.
• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG).
• Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, or C#) for test automation.
• Experience in testing embedded software, IoT applications, or industrial automation systems.
