Job Title: QA Engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking highly accomplished QA who can be the part of the GEDU IT Engineering Team at GEDU Noida. The person should preferably have worked as QA Engineer in any Software Product development organization and has experience in Testing/QA and delivering scalable Web/Mobile/SaaS/Cloud Products in agile methodology. As a QA would help GEDU IT team(s) establish their quality regulations for products and employees. You would help develop and maintain a company's quality standards and design, implement, and improve a company's current quality standards. You should be able work on manual and automated testing using selenium or other tools. Also identify the scope of automation and build the test suite for Integration, regression, and other testing. You should have hands-on experience in load and performance testing by using the standard tools like LoadRunner and JMeter etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery.
• Identify the scope of test automation and execute automated test cases for delivering quality product.
• Following appropriate quality standards and parameters for products.
• Identifying and analyse story, sub tasks, defects, and other problems, particularly when problems recur in multiple products; recommends and facilitates solutions to these issues.
• Communicating quality output to QA lead, product development team, and other concerned members.
• Proactively participation in product testing and raising, commenting the same in JIRA/tool IDs.
• Gaining thorough understanding of the features and specifications of the product.
• Exploring and providing new ideas and solutions of the product.
• Following deliver detailed releases, Release notes to improve production quality, and meet business objectives.

Qualifications:

• BE/B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech or equivalent with relevant experience.
• 4-5 years of experience as a Manual (web & mobile applications) and Automation QA Engineer in Agile Development Environment.
• Require prior experience in manual (Functional, Integration, Regression, Sanity, Re-Testing) and Automation (Selenium with Java) testing.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in Automation Testing.
• 2+ years of experience in API Testing.
• 1+ years of experience in Performance Testing using JMeter.
• Experiences in creating test cases and execution in Test Rail or similar Tools.
• Experience with troubleshooting and log analysis tools.
• Should be well versed in defect life cycle and have hands-on experience in Jira/any tools.
• Understands aspects of Agile methodology.
• Having good analytical, problem solving, communication skills and good team player.

Good to have:

• Good to have CICD pipeline integration.
• Good to have experience using any framework like robot for Web/API test automation.
• Good to have experience in writing SQL queries and exposure to MS SQL/ MySQL DB.
• Good to have experience of working in Ed-Tech/E-Learning companies.
• Good to have ISTQB certifications.
