Urgent hiring - QA Engineer - Contractual - Pune - Hybrid

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Visual QA Specialist with 3-4 years of experience in performing quality assurance of visual content. The ideal candidate will possess strong capabilities in comparing actual UI elements against expected designs, ensuring high-quality visual output across web and mobile platforms, and preparing precise bug reports.

Note : This position is for a Contractual position for 3 months.

• Job Location: Pune (Sangamwadi)
• Shift timings : 2:30PM to 11:30PM IST
• Work Arrangement: Hybrid.

Role & responsibilities

• The candidate will be responsible for Conducting visual QA testing during development and pre-release stages to ensure UI elements match design specifications.
• Compare "actual" UI with "expected" designs, identifying discrepancies and ensuring pixel-perfect alignment.
• Handle dynamic content (e.g., changing images, animations, pop-ups) with accuracy and precision.
• Perform visual QA testing for both mobile apps and web applications, ensuring compatibility across devices and platforms.
• Document and report bugs clearly, with detailed steps to reproduce, severity levels, and expected vs. actual results.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and stakeholders to address and resolve identified issues effectively.
• Stay updated on QA tools and techniques to optimize the visual QA process. .

Technical Competency:

• Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proficiency in visual QA tools (e.g., Applitools, Zeplin, or similar) for automated and manual testing.
• Strong knowledge of UI/UX principles and visual design standards. • Familiarity with bug tracking systems like Jira, Bugzilla, or Trello.
• Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and mobile application frameworks.
• Ability to test dynamic content, animations, and transitions effectively

Functional Competency:

• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement technical requirements.
• Exceptional attention to detail for visual content evaluation.
• Excellent command of written English for creating precise and actionable bug reports.
• Analytical thinking to identify root causes and resolve issues systematically.
