Assistant Store Manager/Store Manager

We are looking for a Assistant Store Manager/ Store Manager who will be responsible for the overall management of the daily operations of a store including staff management, financial management, merchandising, driving sales and customer service, ensuring best practices and

meeting quality standards to achieve key results and support company strategies.

Responsibilities-

1. Drive customer service excellence to every aspect of the store, including store appearance, display of merchandise, product placement, story layout, and selling procedures.

2. Ensure strategic goals and sales targets of the store are met by maximizing sales and gross profit, reviewing sales performance, controlling expenses, and managing inventory.

3. Helps hiring, train, develop, and supervise staff.

4. Provide staff with feedback, coaching, and performance evaluations.

5. Coordinate daily staffing and staffing schedules.

6. Ensure the store complies with outlined safety policies and procedures, as well as state and local health regulations.

7. Perform administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of all store operations, including the timely submission of all personnel paperwork, preparing, and submitting reports, and

monitoring sales receipts and cash.

8. Monitor stock and inventory and perform quality assurance of merchandise on a regular basis.

Candidate profile:

Experience - We are open to hiring someone from the retail industry with at least 2 years of experience as a Store Manager. They should have previous experience in the cosmetic or beauty industry, even if they are not currently working in it..

Language Proficiency:

Essential Languages: Candidates must be proficient in Bengali and Hindi.

English Skills: English proficiency is not mandatory. However, candidates should be able to frame basic sentences and possess strong conversational skills in any language. The ability to explain concepts clearly is essential.

Basic retail math skills sufficient to complete orders, calculate inventory, and manage cash registers

Must have good experience with Excel.
