Civil Site Engineer

1.Basic Functions

a. Responsible for planning & execution of projects.

b. Monitoring of projects and feedback to reporting Manager.

c. Estimation of work.

d. Liaison with the client and local authorities in connection with the work.

2. Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)

a. Plan, co-ordinate and supervise technical aspects of construction projects.

b. Solve technical issues, provide advice, manage and prepare reports.

c. Carry out setting out, leveling and surveying of the site.

d. Checking of technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly.

e. Supervising contracted staff.

f. Ensure project packages meet agreed specifications, budgets and/or timescales.

g. Provide technical advice and solve problems on site.

h. Prepare site reports and filling in other paperwork.

i. Ensure EHS norms are adhered to.

j. Preparation of cost estimates.

k. Ensure availability of appropriate materials and tools at site.

l. Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best contracts.

m. Preparation of work schedules, monitoring and continuous updating.

n. Attend project review meetings and delivering presentations to relevant stakeholders.

o. Organize training sessions where required.

p. Ensuring quality and adherence to the best construction practices at site.

q. Ensure proper documentation.

r. Ensure that the records maintained are accurate and these meet the organizational and the

legal requirements.

s. Correct measurements and valuation.

t. Timely and thorough checking of Bills and its submission for payments.

u. Ensure proper site management and material stacking.

v. Ensure timely submission of Reports.

w. Visit other sites and clients as and when required.

x. Minimizing and tracking the material wastage/scrap.

y. Any other job as assigned.

Note : Candidates staying in Navi Mumbai will be preferred.
