Key skills for the job
1. Basic Function
a) Maintaining adequate raw material for production at plant.
b) Responsible for delivery of briquettes and biomass to target locations on time.
c) Oversee daily operations of the supply chain and the work of field staff and initiate best
practices in sync with company goals and objectives.
d) Manage relationships with channel partners, transporters, and vendors.
e) Measure effectiveness and efficiency of Biomass procurement processes and find ways to
improve processes.
f) Act as a liaison between company and client to monitor quality assurance and take corrective
actions, on behalf of the Company.
g) Mentor and motivate staff and employees to meet or surpass organizational goals.
h) Participate in the preparation and development of short and long-term plans based on wider
Company goals,
i) Procurement of raw materials as per direction of seniors.
2. Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs):
a) Ensure a high level of readiness of required fuel and biomass.
b) Ensure operational financial data submission with accuracy.
c) Ensure maintenance and upkeep of registers maintained and the ground level.
d) Maintain consistent interaction to ensure a high level of satisfaction of Suppliers,
Contractors, O and M Contracts, Built Own Operate and Transfer (BOOT) contracts of clients.
e)Assist in Biomass Assessment Study (BAS) team in work, when conducted in region.
f)Coordinate with SCM Team at all levels & VLEs to ensure uninterrupted supply of biomass for
manufacturing of briquettes.
g) Maintaining records of all aggregation of biomass through the accountant.
h) Maintain P&L records for operations in consultation with Area Manager.
i) Ensure quality control and quality assurances in Fuel.
j) Ensure immediate bag packing of briquettes; less those required to be supplied loose.
k) Maintain liaison with internal stake holders of the Company to ensure strict compliance with
all central and state policies as applicable and contractual obligations.
l) Conduct surprise check / visit on projects/ plant/ supply chain/ procurement offices, yards, and
land holding (including lease) with PRESPL.
m) Ensure inspection and no PILFERAGE in stores, raw material etc.
n) Monitor HSSE / EHS standards of Plant / Project Site in consultation with Seniors.
o) Daily feedback of operations of the company.
p) Keep abreast with the Technology, Logistics, Human Resource, Legal, EHSG, aspects and best
practices in the Country.
q) Plan and execute administration including leave of key appointments in the region.
r) Maintain close liaison with manufacturers, clients, transporters, and local administrator in
the region.
s) Achieve monthly sales targets as sent by seniors by completing tasks as per process.
t) Ensure day-to-day billing of materials purchased from suppliers, VLEs, channel partners and
billing of sales made to clients.
u) Ensure training and development of suppliers and partners as per company processes.
