Key skills for the job
1. JOB PURPOSE:
- Responsible for the research and design of a companys products and systems. Perform various
tasks in an Electrical engineering department including drafting blueprints, creating test
prototypes, and overseeing the manufacturing process.
2. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Participating in kick-off meeting with the sales team before initiating the project.
• Preparing final B.O.M. (Bill of Material), GA (General Arrangement), IGA (Internal General
Arrangement), SLD (Single Line Diagram) & Wiring Diagram from the sources given by estimation
team & relevant documents received from sales team via mail & ensure timely completion of
projects.
• Understand customer requirement by visiting at client site for measurements/ approval as and
when required.
• Preparing drawing as per the requirements and sharing the same with HOD for review.
• After reviewing with the HOD share the drawing with client for approval.
• In case of revision, make correction as per client comments & send back to client for final approval.
• In case of major changes or any new requirement, coordinate with sales team, & seek their
approval to accommodate the changes/ new requirements & submit revised drawing for the final
approval from the client.
• After receiving the final approval from a client, take print out of the approved drawing, stamp &
sign the same before submitting to manufacturing department.
• Initiate kick-off meeting with the Production team before handing-over the project.
• After final inspection from client, prepare As Built Drawing (GA Drawing, Panel Wiring Drawing,
Single diagram).
• Preparing and filing of ISO related documents
• Attend quick meeting (15 min.) with HOD for planning daily task every morning.
• Maintain database of projects - PDF drawings and other electronic files on server.
• Prepare GAD in AutoCAD -2D design & wiring in E Plan.
• Provide solution of any query or concerns of the customer
• Suggest design process improvements for product development

• Maintain an excel sheet regarding daily activity report.
• Filling up proxy if someone is absent.
• Reporting to the superior.
• And any other work given by the top management.
3. COMMUNICATIONS AND RELATIONSHIPS:
Internal: Sales team, Estimation Team, Management, Production Team, Purchase Team
External: Clients, Consultants
4. KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR JOB
Education B.E. Electrical or Diploma Electrical
Experience 2+ Years
Skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Accurate and strong attention to detail.
• Attention to detail
• Proficient in MS Office and popular design software. (Autocad)
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
