Role & responsibilities


Handling/Review of work/ coordination with team primarily relating to the preparation of payment notes & Bank Letters, review of contracts/ agreements/supporting documents, review of Tally entries with respect to JV's/ payments made, checking applicability of relevant provisions of TDS and GST, preparation/ review of MIS, coordination with client with respect to any of the work assigned.


Job Summary:


We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Manager to oversee all aspects of our accounting department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with industry regulations.


Key Responsibilities:


  1. Financial Management:
    • Oversee and manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
    • Ensure compliance with financial policies, regulations, and accounting standards.
    • Monitor financial transactions and maintain accurate records of all accounts.
    • Review and manage financial reconciliations, general ledger, and trial balance.
  2. Budgeting and Forecasting:
    • Develop and manage the companys budget, forecasting future financial performance.
    • Conduct variance analysis and recommend actions based on findings.
  3. Accounts Payable & Receivable:
    • Oversee the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely payments and collections.
    • Review invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests for accuracy and compliance.
  4. Taxation and Compliance:
    • Ensure the company complies with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
    • Prepare and file tax returns and other regulatory reports in a timely manner.
    • Coordinate internal and external audits and implement any required changes.
  5. Team Leadership:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals.
    • Assign tasks and monitor team performance, providing feedback and training when needed.
  6. Financial Reporting & Analysis:
    • Prepare regular financial reports for senior management, identifying trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
    • Provide recommendations based on financial analysis to support business decisions.
  7. Internal Controls and Risk Management:
    • Develop and implement effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
    • Conduct regular reviews of accounting procedures and systems for efficiency and accuracy.
  8. Process Improvement:
    • Continuously evaluate and improve accounting systems, processes, and workflows to optimize efficiency.
    • Suggest and implement best practices in financial management.
