Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to design, develop, and maintain WordPress-based websites. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of WordPress architecture, customization, and plugin development, along with the ability to create high-quality, responsive websites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to implement website requirements.
- Ensure websites are fully responsive, SEO-friendly, and optimized for performance.
- Debug and resolve website issues, including technical and performance-related problems.
- Manage website updates, including WordPress core, themes, and plugins.
- Develop custom themes and plugins as needed to meet client requirements.
- Integrate third-party tools and APIs to enhance website functionality.
- Conduct website testing and quality assurance to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in WordPress development.
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer (portfolio or examples of work required).
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Strong understanding of WordPress architecture, themes, and plugins.
- Experience with page builders such as Element or, WP Bakery, or Gutenberg.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and performance optimization techniques.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and integrating third-party services.
- Experience with version control tools like Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects.
- Experience with WooCommerce or other WordPress-based e-commerce solutions.
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS.
- Understanding of website accessibility standards.
