Job Description
- A Data Engineer is responsible for designing and modelling Data Lake solutions/data ingestion pipelines by collaborating with our users and extended team members by understanding requirements on digital transformation.
- They have the drive to collaborate, gather feedback, solve problems, and tackle data related challenges.
- They work closely with Software Engineers, Data Scientists, Azure Network Administrator teams to build a scalable compliant data system.
- Contribute to data engineering solutions, ensure the continuity of data processes and the associated batch jobs.
- Contribute to end-to-end data solutions of our customers: from raw data analysis to data flow and predictive framework configurations.
- Learn to work on a problem independently and prepare high quality deliverable with minimal supervision.
- Monitor all data update processes and outputs to ensure predictive quality.
- Understand and follow automation, deployment, and operational processes of data pipelines
- Champion healthy team culture aligned with the mission and values of Providence ie, Integrity, Compassion, Dignity, Respect, Justice.
- Cultivate an ever-learning mindset to strengthen understanding of global health care systems.
- Candidates with passion for working in data solutions with knowledge on the fundamental concepts of data storage and retrieval.
- Possesses basic knowledge in Database and Data Modeling concepts.
- Possesses ability to learn Extract-Transform-Load tools like Informatica/DataStage/Ab initio
- Familiarity with scripting language such as Linux/Unix scripting, Python, SQL queries
- Eager to learn and experience data management, and technologies on cloud/Azure data platform
