• Oversee the companys fleet of vehicles , ensuring they are well-maintained, compliant with safety standards, and operating efficiently.
• Coordinate regular maintenance, repairs, and inspections of vehicles.
• Manage fleet records, including vehicle registration, insurance, and safety compliance.
2. Logistics and Transportation Planning:
• Develop and implement transportation strategies to optimize costs, efficiency, and service delivery.
• Plan and manage transportation routes for employees, ensuring timely drops while minimizing operational costs.
• Monitor and adjust transport routes, schedules, as necessary to meet business demands.
3. Vendor Management and Negotiation:
• Negotiate and manage contracts with third-party transportation vendors or logistics companies.
• Evaluate vendor performance and resolve any issues related to transportation services.
• Ensure vendor compliance with company standards and transportation regulations.
4. Budgeting and Cost Control:
• Develop and manage the transportation department’s budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.

6. Safety and Risk Management:
• Implement safety protocols to reduce accidents, injuries, and damages related to transportation operations.
• Ensure that all transportation employees are properly trained in safety procedures, including vehicle handling and emergency protocols.
• Investigate accidents or incidents involving company vehicles and develop strategies to mitigate future risks.
7. Customer Service and Stakeholder Communication:
• Communicate with internal departments (such as HR, Operations) to align transportation needs with business goals.
• Address transportation-related customer inquiries, complaints, or service issues.
