Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Automation Tester with expertise in Playwright/Cypress, TypeScript, and JavaScript.

As a QA Automation Tester, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications.

This role requires a proactive individual with a keen eye for detail, a passion for testing, and a deep understanding of modern testing tools and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities :

Test Automation Development :

- Design, develop, and execute robust test automation scripts using Playwright or Cypress.

- Ensure comprehensive test coverage for both functional and non-functional requirements.

Test Planning & Execution :

- Collaborate with development teams to understand application features and define test strategies.

- Plan, execute, and report on test cases to ensure software quality across multiple platforms.

Defect Tracking & Resolution :

- Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools.

- Work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution of issues.

Continuous Integration & Deployment :

- Integrate test automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines for seamless testing during deployments.

- Monitor and optimize test runs to ensure efficiency and reliability.

Performance & Scalability Testing :

- Perform testing for application performance, scalability, and reliability using automation tools.

Collaboration & Documentation :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align testing activities with business goals.

- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for test strategies, test cases, and automation scripts.

Required Technical Skills :

Automation Tools :

- Expertise in Playwright or Cypress for automation testing.

- Strong knowledge of end-to-end testing frameworks.

Programming Languages :

- Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript for scripting and automation.

Testing Skills :

- Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.

- Experience in creating and managing test plans, test cases, and test data.

CI/CD Integration :

- Experience integrating automation frameworks with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.

Debugging & Troubleshooting :

- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills to identify root causes of test failures.

Required Soft Skill :

Attention to Detail : Ability to identify even the smallest discrepancies in application behavior.
