Job Description
- We are seeking a skilled Python Developer specializing in COM port communication to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python programming along with experience in integrating and communicating with devices via COM ports.
- This role involves developing software solutions that interface with hardware devices using serial communication protocols.
RequirementsExperience: 4+yrs
Responsibilities:
Proficiency in Python programming language.
- Strong understanding of serial communication protocols.
-Experience in developing applications that communicate with hardware devices through COM ports.
-Familiarity with PySerial or similar libraries for serial communication.
-Knowledge of asynchronous programming in Python for handling serial data streams.
-Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
-Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
-Good communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
-Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience with industrial automation or embedded systems.
-Familiarity with protocols commonly used in device communication (Modbus, MQTT, etc.).
-Knowledge of software version control systems (Git, SVN, etc.).
-Prior experience in developing GUI applications using Python frameworks.
-Understanding of networking concepts related to serial communication.
-Experience in optimizing serial communication for high-throughput or real-time applications.
