Xebia is hiring an experienced Project Manager from Airlines /Banking and Retail Domain

The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing the project from inception to completion, ensuring that project goals are met on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, particularly in the areas of time management systems, process improvement, and resource optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Execution:
  
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with key stakeholders.
• Establish milestones and ensure that all phases of the project are delivered on time.
• Team Leadership:
  
• Lead cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and support staff, to ensure project tasks are completed efficiently.
• Manage team performance, provide feedback, and ensure the team is aligned with project goals.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for team members, ensuring communication and problem-solving.
• Time Management System Implementation:
  
• Ensure the time management system aligns with organizational needs and enhances productivity.
• Coordinate with IT and software vendors for system deployment and troubleshooting.
• Oversee the development or integration of time-tracking and management software.
• Risk and Issue Management:
  
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to minimize potential disruptions.
• Resolve issues as they arise and provide contingency plans to keep the project on track.
• Stakeholder Communication:
  
• Communicate project status, progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a timely and effective manner.
• Facilitate regular project meetings and provide clear reporting on milestones.
• Manage expectations and align deliverables with stakeholder needs.
• Budget and Resource Management:
  
• Develop and manage the project budget, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently.
• Track project expenses and ensure that the project stays within the approved budget.
• Adjust resource assignments and manage vendor relationships as needed.
• Process Improvement:
  
• Continuously assess project processes for efficiency and make improvements as necessary.
• Identify areas for time optimization and recommend improvements to processes or tools.

Post-Implementation Review:

• Gather feedback from stakeholders and identify lessons learned for future projects.
• Ensure proper documentation and handover to operations teams for ongoing management.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to assess the success of the project.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in project management, business administration, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in project management, specifically in time and management systems or similar fields.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches).
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with time management tools and software systems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with tools like Jira, MS Project, Asana, or similar project management software.
• Strong understanding of time-tracking software and workforce management systems.
• Knowledge of business process re-engineering and change management
