Project Manager

Roles and Responsibilities:

To oversee and manage the execution of CBG projects. Ideal candidate will have 10-12 years of experience in project management within the EPC sector and possess a strong understanding of project lifecycle, budgeting, planning, construction, and stakeholder (internal and Client) management.

• Project Planning and Execution:
• Work along with planning team to develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
• Coordinate and oversee the execution of engineering, procurement, and construction activities.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
• Preparation of MIS and monthly/weekly reports
• Team Management:
• Lead and manage cross-functional teams, including engineers, procurement specialists, and construction managers.
• Allocate resources effectively and ensure team members are aligned with project goals.
• Stakeholder Management:
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including clients, senior management.
• Manage client expectations and maintain strong client relationships.
• Risk Management:
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Budget and Cost Control:
• Preparation of Cost review reports, invoicing plans and cost book plans on monthly basis.
• Monitor project expenditures and ensure cost control measures are in place.
• Contract Management:
• Ensure contractual obligations are met and manage any changes or claims.
• Subcontractor management.
• Writing formal communications to client, contractor (letters/emails).
• Invoicing.
• Reporting and Documentation:
• Prepare regular project reports, including progress updates, financial status, and risk assessments.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Construction Management:
• Leading site team to deliver construction on time.
• Resource mapping and augmentation.

Critical Competencies for the Job:

• End to end successfully managing large-scale EPC projects.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
