Project Manager ( Electromechanical & Instrumentation-Rourkela )

Role & responsibilities

• Oversee the installation and commissioning of electromechanical systems and instrumentation.
• Ensure seamless integration of EMI works with civil construction activities.
• Technical Expertise:
• Review and understand EMI-related designs, drawings, and specifications.
• Coordinate with consultants to clarify discrepancies and obtain necessary approvals.
• Client and Consultant Interaction:
• Represent the company assertively in technical discussions with clients and consultants.
• Ensure the companys stance is effectively communicated and upheld.
• Quality and Compliance:
• Ensure all EMI works comply with industry standards and project requirements.
• Conduct quality checks and inspections during installations.
• Procurement and Vendor Management:
• Coordinate with HO, vendors and suppliers for timely delivery and installation of equipment.
• Ensure equipment and materials meet project specifications.
• Troubleshooting and Commissioning:
• Address technical issues related to EMI systems during installation.
• Supervise the commissioning process and ensure systems are operationally ready.
• Coordination with Head Office and Suppliers:
• Work closely with the Head Office and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and installation of equipment.
• As-Built Drawings and Handover:
• Aid in the preparation of as-built drawings and manuals.
• Ensure proper handover of EMI systems to the client.

Preferred candidate profile

• Technical Skills :Strong technical proficiency to manage and secure approvals for designs and drawings.
• Communication and Coordination: Excellent communication and coordination skills to handle clients and consultants effectively.
• Leadership: Must be confident and assertive, capable of representing the companys interests strongly.
• Review of Test Reports (MTC s & Third party test reports) of incoming materials.
• Monitoring & inspecting Quality of Construction works.
• Issuing punch list/ snag list to contractors and tracking for closure.
• Identifying Root cause analysis for all deviations/ observations and proposing correction action & proposing prevention action.
• Maintaining lab tests and field records.
• Willingness to relocate to construction site locations is expected.
