Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Transition Coordinator to lead and oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of complex transitional projects within our organization. The Senior Project Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless Project Management from the current state to a future state, minimizing disruption and optimizing efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning: Develop and manage comprehensive transition project plans, including defining objectives, scope, timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessment.
2. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations, ensuring alignment with project goals.
3. Risk Assessment: Identify and evaluate potential risks and challenges associated with the transition and develop effective mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
4. Resource Management: Allocate and manage project resources effectively, including personnel, budget, and technology assets, to meet project milestones.
5. Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain rigorous quality control measures to ensure that the transition adheres to predefined standards and performance expectations.
6. Change Management: Lead change management efforts, ensuring that the transition is embraced and adopted by all relevant parties, with minimal disruption.
7. Communication: Provide regular updates and reports to senior management, project teams, and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the transition.
8. Issue Resolution: Identify and address project issues and challenges that may arise during the transition, making data-driven decisions and taking corrective actions.
9. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and post-transition evaluations.
10. Mentorship and Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior transition coordinators, assisting in their professional development.
11. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and the implementation of best practices in transition management.
12. Budget Management: Monitor project expenses and work to ensure that the transition stays within budgetary limits.
13. Timeline Adherence: Ensure that project timelines are met and adjust plans as necessary to keep the project on schedule.
14. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that the transition adheres to all relevant industry regulations and compliance standards.
15. Technical Proficiency: Stay current with relevant technologies and tools for efficient transition management.
16. Vendor and Supplier Management: If applicable, manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring they meet contractual obligations and contribute to the project's success.
17. Executive Reporting: Provide concise and insightful executive-level reporting on the status of projects, highlighting key metrics and potential areas of concern.
18. Knowledge Sharing: Disseminate knowledge and best practices from completed transitions to improve future projects.
19. Team Building: Foster collaboration and teamwork among project team members to ensure a productive and positive working environment.
20. Customer and User Satisfaction: Ensure that the transition satisfies the needs and expectations of both internal and external customers and end-users.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, Project Management, or a related field (masters degree is a plus).
• Proven experience as a Project Manager or in a similar role, with a significant track record of managing complex Projects/ Transitions.
• Strong project management skills, familiarity with project management methodologies, and advanced problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Change management experience is a plus.
• Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Experience required 16+ years.
• Proficiency in MS Office & Power Point.
