Position Overview: As the central focal point for new orders, this role demands a seasoned project engineer with project management expertise. Responsibilities include developing project scope, managing internal and external stakeholders, escalating concerns, and collaborating closely with QC and the production team. The role involves organizing project kick-off meetings, studying Purchase Orders (POs), leading Project Meetings (OTMs), and formulating comprehensive Project Execution Plans. The Project Engineer tracks input flows from clients, design, procurement, and QAC teams, ensuring projects stay within budgetary and delivery deadlines. Coordination with QC and customers for TP inspections, overseeing invoicing, and ensuring On-Time Performance (OTP) ensures a seamless project execution from procurement to production. 6. Key Responsibilities: 1. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects. 2. Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget 3. Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility 4. Ensure resource availability and allocation. 5. Develop a detailed project plan to track progress. 6. Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs. 7. Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques. 8. Report and escalate to management as needed. 9. Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders. 10. Perform risk management to minimize project risks. 11. Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors. 12. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. 7. Qualifications and Requirements: 1. BE (Mechanical). 2. 5-8 years of experience in a project management role. 3. An additional qualification/ certification program on Project Management will be an added advantage. 4. Working knowledge of CPM/PERT and other statistical techniques will be preferred. 5. Sound knowledge of Project management processes, specifically related to our product portfolio/manufacturing projects. 6. Sound knowledge of fabrication processes such as Welding, rolling, machining, cutting, drilling, painting, etc. 7. Sound knowledge of manufacturing of Skids, Pressure vessel parts, heavy fabrication, and piping, shall have exposure to Piping Design. 8. Sound knowledge of blasting and painting Process. 9. Sound knowledge of quality standards and systems. 10. Proficiency in software tools such as MS office, Microsoft projects, SAP/ERP etc. 8. Competency Requirements: 1. Should be able to ensure on-time performance at the post-order stage. 6. Identify hindrances and resolve them with the cross-functional team 7. Should be able to identify the stages of delay and proactively highlight them for effective execution 8. Ensure collections from the customers 9. Coordination for smooth execution at site. 10. Familiar with ENCO terms 11. Strong networking skills and the capability to build and maintain client relationships. 12. Dynamic, assertive, and results-focused approach. 11. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. 12. Flair to connect with Customers and the Back end at a post Order Stage and ensure smooth execution of Orders 13.
