Manager - Production - Injection Moulding

Key Responsibilities

Production Management

• Oversee end-to-end operations of the Injection Moulding Division to ensure smooth production.
• Manage shift operations to maintain productivity and operational efficiency.
• Set and achieve production targets in alignment with business objectives.
• Implement modifications in operating procedures to enhance efficiency and maximize output.

Process Optimization & Quality Control

• Analyze production processes to identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with industry quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Execute process re-engineering projects to enhance operational efficiency.
• Identify and recommend process or equipment modifications to improve machine performance.

Team Leadership & Training

• Supervise, train, and motivate the production team to ensure high performance.
• Foster a collaborative work environment to drive productivity and continuous improvement.

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Conduct risk assessments to define safety procedures and process controls.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and non-conformities, ensuring timely reporting and resolution.
• Ensure adherence to health & safety regulations, including ISO 14001 standards.

Cost & Waste Management

• Monitor and optimize production costs, including waste, downtime, scrap, and rework.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives to drive efficiency and reduce operational expenses.

Key Skills & Requirements

• Strong expertise in injection moulding and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with various injection moulding machines and robotic arms.
• Proficiency in SAP PP module and strong computer skills.
• Excellent collaboration and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of health & safety regulations, including ISO 14001 compliance.
