Conformity of Production Engine Dyno testing (Power & Torque)

Diploma in Mechanical engineering with 8-12 yrs of experience

B.E / B.tech in Mechanical Engineering with 4-6 yrs of experience

Nature of experience:

Nature of experience: Performance/durability testing and validation IC engines (Gasoline, Diesel, Flex, CNG, BNG) & Engine COP

Knowledge on Automotive products/ processes (4-wheeler)

Work Experience with 3rd party (Test agency / Procurement suppliers

Job Role:

Preparation of test plan and monitoring

Ensuring annual maintenance and calibration of Equipments as per plan

Conducting of Engine COP tests as per requirements

Procurement of Equipments as per business/ tests requirements

Root cause analysis and improvements where issues identified

Test reports preparations/ documentation

Compliance ensuring for meeting internal/ external audit requirements

Competency required:

a. Technical/Functional:

Experience in Engine Dyno/ Engine test bed

Eddy Current & AC Regenerative Dyno Test Data acquisition & Automation control system Operation (PUMA, EDACS etc)

Analysis of Defects with production and design team

Knowledge of utilities of engine dyno & accessories of AVL Test bed

Knowledge of CI, SI Engines, Flex fuel

Basic Knowledge about ISO-9001/14001 / ISO 45001requirements

Knowledge on calibration tools

Equipment procurement & technical requirements identification

Knowledge of Statistical techniques-SPC/ MSA/ Data analysis/ Power BI
