Production Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Production Engineer to manage and optimize manufacturing processes in our facility. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in HVAC systems, sheet metal production, and PPC (Production Planning and Control). The role requires ensuring efficient production operations, maintaining quality standards, and driving process improvements to achieve organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Operations:

• Supervise daily production activities to ensure adherence to plans and schedules.
• Ensure the efficient utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.
• Address and resolve production issues to maintain consistent workflow and minimize downtime.

Process Management and Optimization:

• Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or other methodologies for operational efficiency.
• Monitor machine performance and coordinate with maintenance teams for timely repairs.

Quality Assurance:

• Ensure compliance with product quality standards and specifications.
• Collaborate with quality control teams to identify and address defects or process deviations.
• Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement corrective actions.

PPC Coordination:

• Work closely with the PPC team to align production schedules with demand forecasts and material availability.
• Monitor progress against production plans and suggest adjustments to meet deadlines.
• Maintain accurate production records and generate reports on output and efficiency.

Team Collaboration:

• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and logistics teams to streamline operations.
• Train and mentor production staff to improve skills and knowledge.
• Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement on the shop floor.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in HVAC systems and sheet metal production.
• Experience in production planning and control is required.

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production workflows.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setup.

Work Conditions:
