Production Chemist

Responsibilities:

Solvent Recovery:

1. Execute solvent recovery planning based on plant production planning and recovered solvents generated.
2. Handle batch and continuous distillation columns for solvent recovery and cleaning.
3. Receive solvents from the warehouse and transfer solvents from SRP to the warehouse.
4. Improve solvent recovery yield during the process.

Quality Control and Documentation:

1. Follow up with QC for analysis and quality status.
2. Prepare Monthly MIS reports.
3. Maintain knowledge of documentation (CCFs, BMRs, Quality trend reports).

Operational Efficiency:

1. Follow up with the engineering department to minimize downtime.
2. Ensure effective utilization of manpower in shifts.
3. Maintain housekeeping and cGMP work culture in the plant.

Safety and Compliance:

1. Follow Safety Norms to achieve ZERO Accidents/incidents.
2. Handle audits (internal, customer, regulatory) and maintain online documentation as per requirements.

Energy Conservation and Cost Reduction:

1. Conserve energy and reduce costs during the solvent recovery process.
2. Implement strategies for energy conservation and cost reduction.
