Production Chemist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmaceutical Production Chemist with experience in USFDA/MHRA-approved aseptic and/or terminal sterile plants. The Production Chemist will be responsible for overseeing and managing the production of pharmaceutical products, ensuring adherence to quality standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the chemical aspects of the sterile manufacturing process, including the preparation and handling of raw materials, formulations, and active ingredients.
• Supervise the manufacturing of pharmaceutical products, ensuring all processes adhere to established guidelines.
• Assist in validation and qualification activities for new equipment and processes within the sterile manufacturing environment.
• Accurately record and document production activities, batch records, and other relevant information.
• Monitor and control environmental conditions in sterile production areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness and sterility standards.
• Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to resolve issues and maintain product quality.
• Monitor production equipment to ensure proper calibration and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards in the production area.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes and enhance efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in pharmacy.
• 3-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical production or a related role. Experience in ophthalmic product manufacturing is highly desirable.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of GMP, FDA, MHRA regulations, and other industry standards.
• Proficiency in the use of laboratory equipment and software for data recording.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly.

• Candidate native place should be Vizag
• Telugu, English speaking

Work Environment:

• The position is based in an ophthalmic manufacturing plant.
• Regular interaction with the Production, QC, Regulatory, and other cross-functional teams.
