We seek a talented product designer to shape our web-based SaaS platform by turning complex user and business needs into clear, user-friendly solutions. Your strength lies in simplifying complex workflows and making even the most complicated systems accessible and easy to use.

As a product designer, you will collaborate with product owners, developers, and QA engineers to improve user workflows across our platform. By working closely with a small, passionate group of designers, you'll ensure your designs align with the platform's overall vision. You aim to create clean, intuitive, and efficient experiences that enhance users' daily tasks.

Responsibilities for this role

1. Turn ideas into design solutions

• Create design solutions from concept to interactive prototypes.
• Use sketches, wireframes, and digital mock-ups to visualise and iterate on design ideas.
• Provide clear documentation for design solutions, ensuring alignment with product goals.
• Leverage the Maxxton Design System and actively contribute to its improvement.

2. Support and collaboration

• Validate design solutions with product owners and stakeholders to ensure they meet user and business needs.
• Actively participate in design reviews within the design guild, sharing and receiving constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with product owners and development teams to validate the feasibility of designs.
• Partner with developers to ensure that implementations align precisely with design specifications.

3. Research and ideation

• Build a deep understanding of the team's products and incorporate this knowledge into design solutions.
• Contribute to ideation sessions, generating creative and actionable design concepts.
• Incorporate user feedback into design iterations to enhance usability and satisfaction.
• Identify user pain points through research methods such as interviews, observations, and analytics.

What were looking for

• You are holding a Bachelors degree in the relevant technical field
• You have 2-4 years of industry experience as an influential UX designer
• You have a proven ability to learn and understand complex topics quickly
• You have experience working on digital products
• You have experience working with engineering to improve the user experience, design, UI, and overall usability
• You communicate clearly and openly with your peers
• You have a penchant for data and can utilize analytics tools to understand how your designs affect people at scale
