Product Design Engineer

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a highly motivated EV Charger Design Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and optimization of electric vehicle (EV) charging systems, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards.

Role & responsibilities

• Checking customer PO, SO description, Rating and other requirements needed for
  execution.
• Verification of specification as per customer requirement.
• Cost verification with respect to tender/offer/revised offer.
• Approval documents preparation & submission to field offices/customer within stipulated
  time.
• Preparing & upgrading design guidelines.
• Design of cost optimised product & component selection as per guidelines.
• Schematic preparation using E-3 software & any other software as applicable.
• BOM preparation.
• Production documents preparation & design verification before release for manufacturing.
• Test format preparation, verification, Operation & Maintenance manual preparation.
• Co-ordinating with CFT and customers for all technical issues resolution.
• Interacting with field offices & customers for getting technical clearances.
• Standardization & optimization of Designs.
• Responsible for new product development in co-ordination with R&D.
• QAP preparation and getting approvals from customers
