Athena is looking for unique procurement experts to join our growing Global Strategic Procurement Team. We move fast with a laser focus on customer and stakeholder success. That means we need people who focus on more than just cost. We need adaptable doers who are great at engaging with stakeholders, skilled spend analyzers, strategic sourcing and negotiation experts and solid project managers, flexible and fast multi-taskers, and people who possess a true total cost of ownership philosophy. We need the next generation of procurement talent!
The Procurement Analyst will be responsible for analyzing metadata, reading contract language, and assisting the sourcing team in documenting contracts. They should have a thorough understanding of the contract process and the ability to extract critical data from contracts. The Procurement Analyst will drive contracting activities to ensure the successful selection and implementation of vendor services and solutions by ensuring timely execution of contracts that align with the organizations risk profile through thoughtful project management.
The ideal candidate will possess:
3-4 years of experience in contract review, project management, or a related field, or a degree in a relevant area of study. Knowledge across various sourcing categories and/or the ability to quickly learn and retain information about the sourcing and contracting process and categories. A vision for optimization, strong project management and analytical skills, and excellent interpersonal skills to act as a change agent.
