Job Description

Serves as the lead analyst and key liaison, working closely with colleagues from Operations, Engineering and Test teams and the Client to ensure in-house or deployed systems are kept current and functional. Draws upon their technical expertise and in-depth knowledge of the applications and related business processes to deep dive into complex system issues. Develops strategies to effectively deploy and manage application installations. Assures timely availability of applications by adopting robust monitoring practices and proper interpretation of resulting outcomes and trends. This position typically works under general supervision and direction. Incumbents of this position will regularly exercise discretionary and substantial decision-making authority.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Assume a lead role within and outside the team when working through large scale implementations for Microsoft Dynamic Finance and Operations (MSD FO) and related applications.
As a custodian of various applications in particular MSD FO, use knowledge gained to provide valuable insight during brain storming activities to ensure that all perspectives are appropriately considered in the decision-making or evaluation process.
Provide leadership in the resolution and remediation of those complex technical configuration issues.
Provide leadership to others working in/with MSD FO in the life cycle of various project environments.
Address internal and external stakeholder functional requirements and source a resolution with the ability but not limited to configuring MSD FO.
Profess an excellent understanding of the MSD FO necessary to maintain and administer the system effectively.
Contribute to the continual improvement of release and change management activities for new MSD FO solutions and related software releases.
Set up and manage the customized administration of security roles/controls for MSD FO to comply with quality and security requirements to ensure integrity of the system. Demonstrate strong security awareness and proactively escalate threats or issues as appropriate.
Participate in proposal preparation and system architecture and design activities for MSD FO when required.
Conduct performance tuning and optimization of resource configuration on all platforms related to MSD FO.
Develop and/or thoroughly utilize related tools to perform analysis of system performance.
Produce and maintain system documentation where required.
Train and Mentor staff, act as a key liaison to peers and other system analysts.
Participate as a primary contact in relation to all matters related to MSD FO.
Work collaboratively within a team of System/Business Analysts.

Minimum Job Requirements: Qualifications

Essential:

Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations - Financial Management
Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations - Supply Chain
Degree in a related IT/Computer Science discipline or equivalent

Skills/Experience/Knowledge

Essential:

A minimum of 7-10 years systems administrator and analytic experience.
Extensive knowledge and experience in developing and maintaining MSD FO
Results-driven professional with global experience in the IT sector specializing in Microsoft Dynamic Finance and Operations (MSD FO), with a focus on Financial Management and Inventory Management
In depth understanding of System Administration/Analyst methodology and principles
Minimum 7 years experience in supporting Microsoft environments.
Experience in developing and maintaining scripts (e.g. Powershell, Python, etc.)
Knowledgeable in writing SQL Queries and reports
Knowledge of databases including SQL Server and Oracle
Demonstrated ability to manage systems in a multiple server environment.
Software development experience with C# & Java applications
Proficiency across all Microsoft Office applications

Desirable:

Master s degree in a related discipline is a plus.
Previous experience supporting CRM platforms, IVRs, public facing websites, online payment systems and integration software.
Previous experience supporting device-based application solutions for payment systems.
Previous experience in the development and operation of transport ticketing systems.

Proven ability to pick up new skills quickly and effectively.
Possess a methodical and structured approach to analyzing business processes.
Ability to effectively communicate at all levels.

Able to work out of hours to support programs in other regions (E.g. Australia, North America etc.)
Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
Ability to be on-call as the role requires some after hours and weekend work.
