Vehicle Dynamics Design Engineer

Job Purpose (Significance of the role Objectives)

The role involves designing VD components using advanced CAD tools, ensuring alignment with kinematic, structural, packaging, DFM, and DFA requirements. You will collaborate with vendors and technicians to assess manufacturing feasibility, incorporate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) findings into future design iterations, and ensure seamless integration of all components.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables

• Design, develop, and optimize components for suspension, steering, powertrain, and braking subsystems.
• Integrate components into system and vehicle-level sub-assemblies using CAD tools.
• Select materials for structural components, evaluating various design trade-offs.
• Validate the feasibility of manufacturing, assembly, and service processes.
• Ensure components meet defined engineering requirements.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve engineering challenges and bottlenecks.

Desired Qualifications: Required Qualification, Knowledge, and Experience

• Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 2 - 4 years of experience in component design (preferred).
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, or NX.
• Strong knowledge of DFM, DFA, GDT, and DFMEA.
• Hands-on experience in component design, analysis, and validation.
