Devops Lead

Job Description: DevOps Lead:

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead the DevOps Function: Mentor and guide a team of DevOps engineers, ensuring best practices and high performance in the delivery pipeline.
  
• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure on AWS.
  
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement and manage IaC using Terraform and manage configurations with Ansible to ensure consistency and automation.
  
• CI/CD Pipeline Ownership: Architect and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient and automated software delivery.

Key Role:

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
  
• Proven expertise in AWS, Terraform, and Ansible is mandatory.
  
• Strong knowledge of DevOps principles, automation techniques, and best practices.
  
• Experience in building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines for complex software delivery processes.
  
• Hands-on expertise with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or equivalent.
  
• Proficiency in containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).
  
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in both development and infrastructure environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
  
• Familiarity with security practices in cloud infrastructure and application deployment.
  
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a demonstrated ability to work across teams and mentor junior engineers.
